A five-tier bookcase is a long, heavy, flat carton, and it moves on a different network from a parcel. Tavora Pavilion ships every unit flat-packed from Hyderabad, Telangana with corner protectors and the fixings bagged inside. This page sets out what that costs, how long it takes, and what to do at the door.
What you pay
- Free on orders of ₹5,999 and above.
- Flat ₹199 below that — one charge for the order, not per carton.
- No lift charge, no packaging fee, no fuel levy.
Dispatch
Orders confirmed before 3:00 PM IST on a working day are picked the same day. Furniture is checked against the packing list, re-taped and edge-protected, which takes us 1–3 business days before it goes to the carrier.
Transit on a freight network
Large flat-pack does not move at parcel speed. Expect 5–12 business days in transit — roughly 5–8 business days to metro addresses and 8–12 business days elsewhere — so most orders land within 6–15 business days of confirmation. Bulky consignments travel with a dedicated transport partner rather than Delhivery / XpressBees, and that partner will call to agree a delivery slot.
At the door: check before you sign
This is the important paragraph on this page. Bulky furniture is delivered kerbside and signed for. Open and inspect the carton, on video, before you sign the delivery sheet. If a corner is crushed or a panel is cracked, refuse it or note the damage on the sheet — signing clean makes a transit claim far harder for both of us.
Access and assembly
Delivery is to your door, not up a stairwell and not into a room. Measure your lift, stairwell and doorway against the carton dimensions on the listing before ordering. Assembly is yours to do; every unit ships with fixings and instructions, and anti-toppling hardware where the design needs it.
Where we deliver
India only. An order to an address outside India is cancelled and refunded in full. Some remote PIN codes are outside the freight network entirely — checkout will say so before you pay.
Payment
UPI in advance, or Cash on Delivery to the driver. COD is available on most serviceable PIN codes; a few remote ones are prepaid-only.
Tracking
Tracking goes out by email and SMS at dispatch, and the transport partner calls before delivery. If nothing has moved for 48 hours, tell us and we chase it.
